From the moment I wake up until I fall asleep, there is usually one thing on my mind, food! I tuck myself into bed at night, going over my options for breakfast in the morning, eagerly awaiting my next meal. Eight hours is just way too long to go without eating!
Nothing is more exciting to me than trying out a new restaurant or a dish I have never had before. Food is an adventure! I also love to cook and bake, whether it is an old standby recipe or trying to recreate something magical I’ve had out. My mind is completely consumed by the food I eat and the meals I make, and I would not have it any other way. Where there is food, there is joy!
My obsession with food runs deep below the surface. I love to research and learn about the culture and history behind different cuisines and dishes. It makes the experience that much better. Our food has a rich history that can teach us so much about the world around us if we would all take a moment to listen.
Food is powerful. I believe in the power of a shared meal with friends, family, and strangers alike, where we realize we all have much more in common than we do differences.
There is so much to learn, cook, and eat, and only three meals a day; so little time! Let’s make the most of it.
